How to Show Clients You Care

Stuffed animals and heart shaped boxes have officially taken over grocery stores. With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, show your customers you appreciate them by considering one of the following acts of kindness.

Invite Your Customer to Your House

Invite your customers to your house and be a gracious host. Host an informative seminar or dinner party and invite experts to speak over relevant topics such as retirement planning or taxes. Your clients will notice you making the extra effort to continue building relationships beyond the scope of work.  In addition to getting to know your customers better, you will also be providing them with valuable knowledge they can take with them when managing their finances.

Say Thank You

Do something meaningful to show your customers you care about them. Express gratitude for even simple courtesies to let your customers know they are appreciated. Your customer will have a more pleasant experience if you take the time to say thank you verbally or through a genuine gesture. To keep customers coming back, make them feel valued in one of the following ways:

Stay In Touch

Stay in touch with customers even when they are not in need of a product or service at that time. One regular, short phone call or meeting can go a long way in your customers’ eyes. Other ways to stay in touch include:

Customers recognize and appreciate it when their financial advisors take the extra time to show that they care. Satisfied customers are typically more likely to continue doing business with you and helping your practice grow. So, make sure to personalize your interactions and show gratitude to all of your customers.
